• Peripheral vascular disease
• Severe trauma
• Burns
• Frostbite

DANGEROUS

• Malignant tumour
• Potentially lethal sepsis
• Crush injury

DAMN NUISANCE

• Gross malformation
• Recurrent sepsis
• Severe loss of function
